• Research Fellowships and Assistantships: Fellowships exist for excellent students, and qualified graduate students may apply for semester-long research and teaching assistantships.

• Research Internships at Top Research Facilities: Take advantage of the almost limitless research opportunities available in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area, from the Library of Congress and the museums of the Smithsonian Institution to the National Institutes of Health, NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center, or one of many federal research labs.

• On-campus Research Projects with UniversityFaculty: Undergraduate students may contact our faculty directly to find research positions in their labs or with their projects.

• Honors Thesis: Undergraduate students in the UniversityHonors Program research, write, and present a thesis paper relating their own academic discipline to the theme of the Honors capstone seminar course they select.

• Inventio Undergraduate Research Journal: Inventio publishes original undergraduate research that best represents the University’s commitment to the academic and Catholic traditions that inform its mission to “discover and impart the truth.”

• UniversityResearch Day: This annual gathering is the University's premier annual research event for students, a day of presentations highlighting the current research our students, faculty, and staff conduct across the disciplines.
